For this wednesday's favorite vendor blog spot we are featuring the Bald Head Island Club. It was recently featured in The Knot magazine as one of the top wedding venues across the country. Below is a quote from an interview we did with Lindsey Cheek,club coordinator  for the Bald Head Island events blog.

"Our signature design palate is to embrace the environment. Bald Head is a beautiful barrier island off the North Carolina coast. The maritime forest filled with twisted oaks and pines that run to meet the sea grass covered rolling dunes that cascade into indigo waves. Your event is already surrounded with the natural magic of the island, therefore, it's important to begin with a graceful, simple aesthetic for your design vision.

We have decided to start a new feature here on our blog, entitled "Our Favorite Vendors". We will feature a new vendor every week that we have personally worked with in the past, and more importantly a vendor that we would LOVE to work with again! Some of these vendors have worked with us only a few times, and some are almost like family, we have worked together so many, many times! Our intent is to showcase vendors that strive to maintain a high standard of service and professionalism, an eye for beauty, and an overall love for their work. We want to let you, the general public, know whom we would trust if we wanted to hire a professional in the Wilmington and Bald Head Island area.

Our first "Our Favorite Vendor" is Anne McGowan, Photographer

The following is an excerpt from Anne's website;

"I can't imagine a better life than the one I get to live through making photographs. Each wedding is a unique story to be remembered and told for generations. From the moments before the wedding, to the relief, laughter and joy afterwards I am capturing your story without interrupting the natural flow of your day. I have been photographing families and weddings on Bald Head Island and the Wilmington area since 2000."
