Photographer Anne McGowan paired the bride's bouquet with a rustic wall. We added a B  made of tiny pearls for the Bride.

Here are some photos of a wedding that we did on Bald Head Island recently.I love this canopy - it anchors the ceremony so nicely and looks even better for a beach ceremony.

This was fun - all of the guests were encouraged to find their "inner angel" by posing in front of the wings drawn on our black board. I can't wait to see the photos !

Here are a trio of vintage chapel birdhouses - we love to feature them on tables that have food or refreshments .

The centerpieces were a combination of our glass lanterns filled with flowers and low vases with vibrant ,seasonal dahlias and snapdragons with what grass accents.Votives were filled with orange lentiils  for a fun organic look.

These are some of the florals and berried items that we are looking to decorate our upcoming fall weddings. A lot of brides ask me for examples of seasonal items-here are some of my favorites for fall.

Sea Oats defined as representing "the witching soul of music". They are lovely for beach weddings.

Snow berry exemplifies audacity- very big word for such a tiny berry.

Bittersweet , represents truth.bittersweet

vibernum berries

vibernum berries, again I love the foliage as much as the berries.

Zinnias represent thoughts of absent friends.zinnia

chinese lanterns
chinese lanterns are so charming and graceful. But the color is what makes them so magical.

hydrangea
Hydrangea is a "boaster" and means heartlessness according to Kate Greenaway in "The language of flowers.

crab apple branches

crabapple branches are a symbol of preference and temptation - I don't know which I like better the lovely fruit or the colorful foliage.
